Lilla Caldwell

A Catholic Prayer service for Lilla Mae Pastorick Caldwell, age 88, will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Father Paul Bienvenu will officiate the services.


She was a resident of Opelousas, LA. She died on Friday, January, 7, 2011, at a local hospital. She was a US Navy veteran who served her country during WWII as a Yeoman 3rd Class. She was employed as a claims specialist with Social Security Administration Opelousas Office for many years.

She is survived by one son, Gail Norman Caldwell of Saint Amant, LA two sisters, Dorothy Pastorick Dean of Opelousas and Joyce Pastorick Stevens of Yuma, Arizona one brother, Wallace J. Pastorick, Jr. of Walker 5 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Neill K. Caldwell daughter, Dorothy Caldwell Duckett mother, Lorena Bazar Pastorick and father, Wallace J. Pastorick, Sr.

A memorial gathering for Lilla Mae Pastorick Caldwell, age 88, will be held from
6 pm 8 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas, LA.

A Womens Veteran Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
