Sunset Funeral services for Mrs. Leverl Savoie Leger, 87, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Coteau and burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Rev. Ted Hall will conduct the services.

Mrs. Leger was a native of Church Point and a long-time resident of Sunset. She died at 6:35 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at her sons home in Sunset. She was a member of the Opelousas Bible Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother,

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Jeannette Leger of Sunset; one grandson, Bart Leger and wife, Katherine of Lake Charles; and three great-grandchildren: Jeremy Leger of Lake Charles; Kerry Leger of Sunset; and Megan Leger of Lake Charles.

Mrs. Leverl was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Anatole Leger; her parents: Emilian and Elodie Brasseaux Savoie; three brothers and four sisters.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday, August 19, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
