Leroy Martin

Port Barre Memorial Services for Leroy Ronkey Martin, age 75, will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Courtableau Baptist Church in Port Barre.

Ronkey passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the TriCommunity Nursing Home in Palmetto, LA. He loved fishing, spending time with family and going to church.

He is survived by his special friend, Christy Crissy Bazar of Port Barre step son, Larry Chopper Boudreaux of LaCombe brothers, Herbert Martin of Port Barre and Michael Martin, Sr. and wife, Kay of Stigler, OK sister, Diane Teaty Guillory of Charenton, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Denise Taylor Martin sisters, Barbara Bobbie Menard, Debra Carrier, and Georgia Dupre brothersinlaw, Kermit Dupre, Wilbur Snook Carrier and Albert Guillory, Sr.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Courtableau Baptist Church.
