Bayou Rouge, La Funeral services for Leroy Dupre, 77, will be held at 10:00 AM, April 10, 2007, in Bayou Rouge Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge, La . Interment will follow in the Bayou Rouge Church Cemetery.

Pastor Shuff of Bayou Rouge Pentecostal Church will conduct the services.

Mr. Dupre, a native of Woodside, La and resident of Krotz Springs, La , died at 10:55 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Dr's Hospital, Opelousas, La.

Mr. Dupre was a very proud veteran, serving our Nation in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was wounded during the conflict and received the Purple Heart and other honors for his service. During his life he worked as an oiler in the construction business and was a very loving husband, father, brother and a friend to all that knew him. He will be sadly missed by those that loved him.

Survivors include his wife; Lora Mae Dupre, Krotz Springs; sons; Joseph Dupre, Breaux Bridge, La, Kenneth Dupre, Denham Springs, La, Paul Dupre, Greensburg, La, J. B. Ellis, Jr., Jackson, La, Dale Ellis, Erwinville, La; daughters; Sharon Dupre, Denham Springs, La, Sharon Blanchard, Baton Rouge, La, Terry Mason, Krotz Springs, La, Vicky Lillis, Fourdouche, La; sister; Blackie Soileau, Baton Rouge, La; 24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.

Leroy, was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Herman and Nolance Louise Stoute Dupre; brother; Paul Dupre; sister, Carrie Shutes; granddaughter; Stacey Lynn Dupre.
