Port Barre- A Funeral Service for Leo Glenn Barron Will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre.
He was a son, brother, cousin, friend, one of a kind dad & poppy, He loved his girls & grandkids, he never met a stranger, he loved spending time with family & friends, going to the casino & thrift shopping.
He is survived by his daughters: Sedonia Lynn Barron & companion Glenn Lacassin, Jr of Krotz Springs & Kimberly Duplechain and her husband Lenus “Butch” of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Granddaughters: Christian Barron of Leonville and Chelsie Lacassin of Krotz Springs.
Grandsons: Dayton & Gideon Duplechain, Great granddaughter Stella Lafleur, grandson, Ridge Lacassin.
Mother, Rita Olivier.
Brothers: Arville (Diane) Barron of Port Barre, Karl (Darlene) Barron, Jimmy (Cindy) Barron of Leonville, Tony (Ann) Barron of Cecilia, Gary (Sonia) Barron of Port Barre & Mac Barron (companion Paula Sharkey) of Port Barre.
Sisters: Wanda (Wayne) Gautreaux of Opelousas, Arlene (Kevin) Stelly of Leonville, Mary (Will) Ivey of Henderson.
A host of nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Barron, twin brother, John Lynn Barron, sister, Carlene Ann Barron, Paternal grandparents, Marshall & Matilda Barron, Maternal grandparents, Elda Angelle & Yves Bergeron & nephew, Seth Barron.
Vastation will be on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:15p.m. in the funeral chapel.
