Lena Gerace

OpelousasA Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the St. Landry Catholic Church, for Lena M. Gerace. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Fr. James Brady will officiate the Mass.

Lena passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her home in Opelousas. At the age of 85. She was employed by Diesi Little Capital of Krotz Springs for several years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Robert Gerace and his wife, Janice of Lafayette, three grandchildren, John Gerace, Rocky Gerace, and Ross Gerace, and two great grandchildren, Owen Gerace, and Vivienne Gerace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Gerace, her parents, Joseph and Josephine Diesi Maddie, her brother, Victor Maddie.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
