Laura Fitzgerald

A Celebration of life will be held for Laura Fitzgerald on Saturday August 8, 2021 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church of Port Barre.

Laura, age 70 passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Laura enjoyed reading and attending bible study and prayer group. She loved spending time with her all her grandchildren and pets. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Laura is survived by her husband Michael Fitzgerald; four sons, Jason (Collette), Jeremy, Joshua and Michael Fitzgerald; brother George Thompson; sister, Joyce Stelly; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlin Stelly and her husband Kalen, Kori and Klair Fitzgerald; 2 great-grandchildren, Reid and Harper Stelly; and 4 step-grandchildren, Madison, Jared, Janson and Kelsie. Laura also leaves behind a beloved friend of 30 years, Stacey Fitzgerald.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Thompson; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
