Larry James Stoute

Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Larry James Stoute at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at a later date and will be private. Father Daniel Picard will celebrate the Mass.
Larry was a longtime resident of Port Barre. He passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at his residence, at the age of 73. Larry was a member of the Crusin' Cajuns Campers and loved playing golf, gardening, photography and building things from wood. Larry is going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Stoute of Opelousas; son, Donavan J. Stoute of Opelousas; daughter, Cynthia M. Stoute of Opelousas; brother, Gary W. Stoute and wife Mary of Port Barre; sister, Linda G. Box and husband Dean of Lafayette; brother-in-law, William Bodin of Baton Rouge.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Alene Devillier Stoute and sister Patricia Bodin.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
