Kristy Nolan

PORT BARRE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Kristy Renee Nolan announces her passing on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the age of 38. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Rite of committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Picard officiating the services.

Kristy was a loving mother, daughter and sister, she will be remembered as a person eager to help those in need. She had a love for reading and books which she shared with her children who were her world. Kristy worked as a cashier at South Oil in Port Barre and also worked at Dedicated Transportation of Lafayette.

Kristy will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Debra and step-father Brad Baham; sons, Davonte Gloston and Ethan Nolan; daughter, Arianna Nolan; brother, Brad Nolan and sisters, Brittany Baham and Kaitlyn Baham all of Port Barre. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her nephew Cohen Gerace, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She now rests with her father, Robert Nolan; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Velma Jennings, Sr.; maternal great grandparents, Percy and Loretta Aymond and Bessie Jennings; paternal grandparents, Joe and Marjorie Nolan; paternal great grandparents, Loucinda and Lastie Pitre; her step-grandparents Bill and Iona Baham; nephew, William Gerace; cousin, BJ Baham and uncle, Billy Baham.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary being prayed in her memory Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday beginning at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers for the service are Brad Baham (step-dad), Ralph Jennings, Jr. (uncle & godfather), Dylan Stevens(future brother-in-law), Laine Gerace(future brother-in-law), Shane Pappas(cousin) and Lonnie Domingue(uncle). Honorary pallbearers will be her two little boys Ethan and Davonte.
