Grand Coteau A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Carencro, LA, for Kevin Scott Vautrot. Rite of Committal and interment followed in the St. Peters Catholic Church Cemetery in Carencro, LA. Rev. Father Mark Ledoux will celebrate the Mass.

Kevin was a native of Opelousas and resident of Sunset. He passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012, at his residence at the age of 32. He was a licensed arborist and owner of Pro Tree Services for most of his life. He was a member of Home of Grace Church. Being outdoors was his passion, he enjoyed hunting and fishing as a pastime. He was well known and had many friends who loved and adored him. He was a loving father, son, uncle and brother to his whole family. He truly loved his children. He lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, James Vautrot and Janet Patin Vautrot of Opelousas two daughters, Marley Ann Vautrot of Grand Prairie and Elise Claire Vautrot of Carencro one brother, James David Vautrot of Opelousas three sisters, Christine V. Garner and husband, James of Lafayette Sylvia V. Vidrine and husband, Chris of Sunset and Tonya V. Thibodeaux and husband, Shawn of Sunset nieces and nephews: Bryan, Christopher, and Andy Vidrine Matthew, Olivia, and Sarah Garner Jenna and Dylan Vautrot and Lucas Daigle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Bearb Vautrot and grandparents, Francis Lloyd and Vivianne Vautrot and Merlin and Anna Mae Bearb.,

Visiting hours will be observed on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, beginning at 10 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. On Thursday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. in the funeral home.

A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Vautrot, Bryan Vidrine, Christopher Vidrine, Andy Vidrine, EJ Young, and Douglas Young. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Garner and Brandon Bubba Patin.
