OPELOUSAS- A Funeral Service will be held for Baby Kensleigh Elizabeth Breaux on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Bud Plake of Crossroads Church will conduct the service. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 12 noon until the time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
In loving memory of Kensleigh Elizabeth Breaux, born in Lafayette, on March 4, 2024, and peacefully passed away in Baton Rouge, LA on August 7, 2024, in the loving embrace of her parents, surrounded by her adoring family. She was a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, and a precious angel whose time on this earth was as brief as it was beautiful.
Kensleigh's journey began with a miraculous feat, being born at just 22 weeks, weighing a mere 9 ounces. Against all odds, she showed a remarkable spirit and unwavering strength, proving to be a true fighter from the moment she entered this world. Throughout her short but impactful life, Kensleigh faced and triumphed over numerous hurdles with a resilience that inspired all who knew her. Though she may have been small in size, her impact was immeasurable, leaving a legacy of bravery and perseverance that will forever be remembered.
Kensleigh is survived by her parents, Landen and Katlyn Breaux of Duson; maternal grandparents, Christopher Fontenot of Lafayette and Danielle Bonin of Breaux Bridge; paternal grandparents, Christopher Breaux of New Iberia and Nikki Simon of Duson; brother, Kyrie Vincent; great-grandparents, Yvette Melancon of Lafayette, Carl Simon of Duson and Yvonne Davis of Youngsville; as well as five aunts and one uncle.
Kensleigh is preceded in death by her sister, Wrenleigh Vincent; and uncle, Devin Simon.
As we bid farewell to Kensleigh, we find solace in knowing that she is now cradled in the arms of angels, free from pain and embraced by eternal peace. While her physical presence may be gone, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a beacon of hope and a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
May Kensleigh’s courageous soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was loved beyond measure and will always be cherished and remembered with profound affection. Goodbye, sweet Kensleigh, may you soar among the stars, forever our little angel.
