Bayou Rouge Funeral services for Justin Ryan Stevens, 22, will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the First Pentecostal Church of Bayou Rouge, followed by interment in the church cemetery.

Justin Ryan Stevens a resident of Melville, died at 7:55 p.m. on June 20, 2007 in Opelousas.

Survivors include his parents, Daniel Ray and Vickie Lynn Dier Stevens of Melville; paternal grandfather, George Desoto of Opelousas; maternal grandfather, Rodney Glynn Dier of Springfield, Missouri; brother, Jeremy Stevens of Plaucheville; a half brother, John Rodney Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gloria LeBlanc Desoto and his maternal grandmother, Syble Louise Hudson Dier.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Pitre, Johnny Moreau, Scotty Leon, Jeremy Stevens, Jesse Prudhomme and Kenneth Martin, Sr.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre starting at 1:00PM Saturday until service time on Sunday.
