Morrow Funeral services for Justin Michael Fontenot, 24, will be held at 1:00PM January 18, 2007, in the St. Peter Catholic Church in Morrow, LA. Interment will follow in the St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery in Morrow.

Justin Michael Fontenot, a resident of Bunkie, died at 12:30PM Monday January 15, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Justin served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Operation Iraqi Freedom 1.

Survivors include: Mother, Jessie Lynn Fontenot of Bunkie; father, Kevin Paul Deshotel of Beggs; paternal grandparents, Gene and Clarisse Deshotel of Beggs; Step grandparents, Don and Rebecca Morgan of Lawtell and Janice Lavergne of Ville Platte; 2 brothers, Lance Corporal Brandon Fontenot of 29 Palms, CA and Cole Morgan of Morrow; sister, Erica Morgan of Morrow and a step-sister, Chenoa Deshotel of Salmon, Idaho.

Mr. Fontenot was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Santon and Jessie V. Basco Fontenot and his step father Chris Morgan.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas from 10am-10pm on January 17, 2007 and re open on Thursday at 8:00am until service time. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
