Julia LeBlanc Ledoux
Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Julia LeBlanc Ledoux, 48, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2007, in First Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge, LA. Interment will follow in the First Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Bayou Rouge, LA.
Rev. Dallas Shuff, Rev. Ronnie Lacombe, Rev. Kennon Geisendorff, and Rev. Ray Majors will conduct the services.
Mrs. Ledoux, a native of Ville Platte, LA, and resident of Mamou, LA. She died at her residence on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. She was a secretary for many years and was a member of the Eunice Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed cooking and working in her yard. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons: Jody Paul Fontenot and wife, Vickie of Krotz Springs; and Troy Nicholas Ledoux of Mamou; her mother, Elwanda L. Fontenot and stepfather, Altey Fontenot, Jr. of Melville; one brother, Dale Keith Fontenot of Baton Rouge; two sisters: Sheryl Sue Odom and Paula Delain Logan, both of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren: Victoria Anne Fontenot and Ethan Paul Fontenot, both of Krotz Springs.
Mrs. Julia was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Francis A. LeBlanc.
Visiting hours will be observed from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
