Jules Trosclair, Jr.

Opelousas Funeral Services for Mr. Jules Sidney Trosclair, Jr. were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Interment followed in the Bellevue Memorial Park.
Jules Sidney Trosclair, Jr., 80, died on May 27, 2012, after a long illness. He was born in Opelousas on June 10, 1931. After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953, he was employed by BellSouth Communications until he retired on February 18, 1992. He was a life member of AT T Pioneers.
Jules was preceded in death by his parents, Jules S. Trosclair, Sr. and Maude Richard Trosclair of Opelousas his wife, Carolyn Gaines Trosclair three brothers, Joseph Phillip, Marion, and Robert Sonny Trosclair and two sisters, Gloria Gaines and Irma Fontenot.
He is survived by his brother, Raphael Trosclair four children, Paul B. Trosclair, Gordon S. Trosclair, Donald B. Trosclair, and Karen Trosclair nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to his caregivers, Gwen Fontenot and Margaret Kennerson and the staff of Hospice Compassus for their care during Mr. Jules illness.
