Leonville Funeral services for Mrs. Judy L. Thibodeaux, age 64, the former Judy Lanclos, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Leo Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville. Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the Mass.

Judy was a resident of Pecaniere. She died on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at her residence.

She was born in New Orleans and was a life-long resident of Pecaniere. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mrs. Judy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and her many friends. Her greatest hobby was taking pictures of everyone. She will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, A.J. Thibodeaux, Sr. of Pecaniere; son, A.J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and wife, Julie of Pecaniere; daughter, Belinda LeJeune and husband, Tracy of Port Barre; grandchildren: Crystal LeJeune, Kenneth LeJeune, and Adam Thibodeaux.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Emily Dupont Lanclos; and brother, Michael Lanclos.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, March 2, 2009, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
