Juanita D. Bourque

Port Barre Funeral services for Juanita D. Bourque, age 77, will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Fr. Dan Picard will celebrate the Mass.
Juanita passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System. Juanita and Herbert owned and operated Bourques Fishermen Inn for 24 yrs. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Bourque of Opelousas, her children Wayne Bourque and wife Kim of Port Barre, and Brenda Collette and husband Ronnie of Baton Rouge, granddaughter Angie Ainsworth and husband Kurt of Baton Rouge, and grandson Dustin Collette and wife Nikki of Baton Rouge, five great grandchildren Kaylyn, Alex, Ryan, Lucy Ainsworth and Kate Collette, sister Hilma Hatcher and husband Bill of Baton Rouge.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Olla Pitre Dupre, brothers Dudley, Douglas, Elvin and Rodney Dupre, and sister Hazel Faul.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hatcher, Kirt Bordelon, Jr. Faul, Dustin Collette, Kurt Ainsworth, and Cliff Guillory.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Sunday, July 31, 2011, from 2 p.m. until time of service on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening in the funeral home.
