Opelousas A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Joyce Spangler Westmoreland.

Mrs. Joyce passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at her home in Opelousas, LA, at the age of 68. She was born in Boswell, Oklahoma, and lived in Pocola, Oklahoma, for many years. She was currently residing in Opelousas, LA. She was a homemaker and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Clifton Westmoreland of Opelousas, LA two sons, Tony Neal Tammie of Fayetteville, AR and Jerry Potter of Pineville, LA two daughters, Sonnya Neal of Pocola, OK and Kina Loudermilk Al of Birmingham, AL one brother, Harvey Spangler Jen of Pocola, OK and one sister, Deborah Spangler Doug of Pocola, OK 11 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Therrel and Estell Spangler and one brother, Donald Spangler.

The family gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 9:30 am to 11 am in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA.
