Grand Coteau-Graveside funeral services for Joshua Jamal Winfield, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau, LA. Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate the services.

Joshua Jamal Winfield, Jr. entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father on February 3, 2015, at 12:45 p.m. in Women's and Children's Hospital in Lafayette, LA, at the age of 3 days old. He was a resident of Sunset, LA.

Survivors include his parents, Joshua Jamal Winfield, Sr. and Shakeila Janae White, both of Sunset; two brothers, Ja'Von Valerie and Kaidyn Winfield, both of Sunset; two sisters, Jaic'Lyn Lazare of Sunset; and Ja'Ziyah Winfield of Baton Rouge; maternal grandfather, Junior Roy of Sunset; paternal grandfather, Johnny Winfield, Jr. of Baton Rouge; and maternal great-grandparents, Danny Smith and Cynthia Smith of Sunset; and Betty Jo Anders of Florien.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lasondra "Nikki" Smith Roy; paternal grandmother, Brenda Winfield; and paternal great-grandparents, Johnny Winfield, Sr. and Ailene Winfield; and Royal Gardiner, Sr. and Norma Gardiner.

The family will have a gathering from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m at the St. Charles Cemetery on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
