Joseph Patin

Opelousas -A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Carrol Patin will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in the St. Leo Catholic Church. MSGR. Curt Mallet will conduct the Mass. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery.

Carrol was a resident of Arnaudville; he died on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Opelousas General Health System, at the age of 81. Carrol served in the United States Air Force.

Carrol is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mrs. Ethel Patin of Arnaudville, his children, Philip Patin and his wife, Suzy of Arnaudville, Jeremy Patin and his wife, Kelly of Arnaudville, Myra Meche and her husband, Todd of Church Point, Stefanie Stout and her husband, Chad of Sunset, sisters, Marie Bourgeois and her husband, Curtis of Biloxi, Miss., and Judy Touchet and her husband, Harold of Carencro, grandchildren, Cameron Meche, Haliley Patin, Ashlyn Patin, Anistyn Patin, Camille Stout, step grandchildren, Dusty Fontenot and Heather Short, step great grandchildren, Shaylee Vincent, Austyn Short, and Dustin Fontenot, Jr.

He is preceded in death by parents, Adolph and Ludy Patin, grandchild, Ludy Patin, step grandchild, Travis Fontenot, brothers, John, Joe, Paul, and Jim Patin, sister, Lucille Bernard.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
