Joseph Earl Lanclos

Port Barre -A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Earl Lanclos will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev.Fr. Daniel Picard will conduct the Mass. Interment will be at the St. Leo Church Cemetery in Leonville.

Earl a long resident of Port Barre, he passed away on January 23, 2016 at the age of 61, at his residence after a long battle with health issues. Earl enjoyed working, tinkering with tractors and fabricating things with his hands. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and is going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Earl is survived by his wife, Beverly Lanclos of Port Barre; mother, Lilly Mae Mayer of Port Barre; sons, Lance Lanclos of Port Barre, Derek Lanclos of Washington; brothers, Raphael Lanclos of Port Barre, Neil Lanclos and wife Mary of Church Point, Tommy Lanclos and wife Cheryl of Port Barre; sister, Cynthia Pena and husband Steve of Port Barre; grandchildren, Christian Lanclos, Hannah Lanclos and Haley Lanclos.

Earl was preceded in death by his father, Elvan Lanclos, Sr. and brother, Elvan Lanclos, Jr.

The visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Funeral Home will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday night in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
