Joseph Hebert, Jr.

Opelousas- A memorial service will be held for Joseph Donald Hebert, Jr, at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Sammy Diesi will officiate the Service.

Donnie was a longtime resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at his home in the arms of his family, at the age of 58. Donnie loved entertaining and cooking for family and friends but his true passion was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Deena Meche Hebert, sons, Chris Hebert and wife, Jena, Nick Hebert and his wife, Kim, Brad Hebert and his wife, Courtney, and one daughter, Ashly Hebert, brother, Bernie Hebert and his wife, Lorna, sisters, Martha Smith and her husband, Gary, and Michelle Hebert, nine grandchildren, Collin, Paighton, Eli, Ethan, Alekson, Alayna, Erron, Rylan, and Finley Hebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr., and Mary Hebert, and father-in-law, Carroll Meche.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon.

A rosary service will be prayed on Saturday at 11:15 am in the funeral home chapel.
