Joseph Chester Hebert
Leonville- Funeral services for Joseph Chester Hebert, age 80, will be held at 11:00 a .m. Saturday, October 10, 2009, in the St. Leo The Great Catholic Church in Leonville. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Mausoleum.
Mr. Chester was born in Cecilia, La., and was a long time resident of Pecaniere, La. He died on October 7, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Chester was a retired Chief Engineer on a dredge boat with Atlantic and Pacific Dredging Company and after his retirement worked for Dupuis Memorial Works for many years. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Chester is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nola Lanclos Hebert of Pecaniere; son, Shane Hebert and wife Christie of Pecaniere; brother, Leo Hebert of Baton Rouge; brother-In-laws, Eugene Lanclos and wife Gloria of Pecaniere, Harry Lanclos of Carencro; sisters, Mary Lou Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge, Renella Landry and husband Harry Lee of Carencro; sister-in-law, Adeline Hebert of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Jamie Badeaux and husband Colby of Breaux Bridge, Naomi and Alyssa Hebert of Cecilia; great grandchildren, Courtney and Jadie Badeaux of Breaux Bridge; Mr. Chester will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his, parents, Alfred and Helen Naquin Hebert; son, Dale Weasel Hebert, daughter, Brenda Hebert, brother, Lester Hebert, and sister, Adele Guidry; mother-in-law, Laurence Lanclos.
Pallbearers will be Claude Lagace, Chad Lanclos, Richard Hebert, Robert Hebert, David Hebert, Ricky Landry and Colby Badeaux.
The Family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Rees and Staff, Dr. Rainey and staff, Dr. Daneshfar and staff, Complete Home Health, Ginger Gibson-RN, and Heart Of Hospice, for their wonderful care and also RN'S Shelby and Michelle.
