John Ware

Opelousas- Funeral services for John Link Ware, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Minister Toby Ryder will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Ardoin-Gauthier Cemetery.
John Ware, 63, of Belle Chasse. A man with a heart of gold, gained his Heavenly wings May 16, 2018, after a heroic battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris Ware. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 43 years Theresa Suire Ware. He leaves behind his sons, William"Billy" Ware (Tonya), Clinton Ware(Brandi), and Randy Ware (Tracey).
He leaves behind his beloved grandkids Trey and Trent Ware and his recently gained grandkids Avery and Payten Burke. He also leaves behind two brothers, Mallory and Ricky Ware. He will also be missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. John was proud to be a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed his job at Belle Chasse Marine Transportation as a boat Captain. John worked hard to provide a great life for the family that he adored. When he was not hard at work, he loved working with wood, fishing, shooting his guns, and traveling with his wife and family. Heaven is gaining a very special angel, who has touched so many lives here on Earth. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and their wonderful nurses that helped with his care in his and our time of need.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. till time of service.
