John Mistrot, Jr.

Opelousas - A Mass of Christian Burial for John Allen Mistrot, Jr. will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville. Reverend Austin Leger will conduct the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Leo Mausoleum.

Mr. Mistrot passed away on April 25, 2017, in Washington, LA. Mr. Mistrot served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gail G. Mistrot of Leonville; daughter, Melissa Mistrot of Breaux Bridge and brother-in-law, John Lee Chautin of Leonville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Allen Mistrot, Sr. and Evelyn Artique Mistrot and sister, Shirley Mistrot Chautin.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. A rosary will be prayed at 10:45 a.m. by Reverend Austin Leger.
