John Joseph Joe Blow Lewis, Sr.

Grand Coteau Funeral services for Mr. John Joseph Lewis, Sr., known to many as Joe Blow, age 51, will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Father James Lambert will celebrate the Mass.
He was a resident of Sunset. He died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at his home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children: John Joseph Lewis, Jr. of Shreveport Alex Jamal Monroe of Sunset and Alexis Renee Monroe of Sunset two sisters, Edith Guidry and Annette Lewis, both of Sunset and his loving and special friend, Latanier Monroe of Sunset.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lewis and Ida Henry Lewis and one brother, Anthony Lewis.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Thursday, December 2, 2010, from 9 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
