John Deville

Opelousas- Funeral service for John Allen Deville will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

John, was a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at his home in Port Barre, at the age of 75. John loved going to the stock yard every Tuesday, and riding around checking on his cows. John worked hard all his life.

Survivors include his loving wife, Laurie Deville of Port Barre, sons, Dwayne Deville and his wife, Charlotte of Port Barre, Carl Deville and his wife, Angie of Leonville, Brent Deville and his wife, Tina of Opelousas, a Shane Deville and his wife, Andrea of Port Barre, daughter, Kristy Daville and her husband, Joel of Port Barre, brother, Norris Deville and his wife Eula of Plaquemine, sisters, Betty Cormier and her husband, Dewey of Opelousas, Jane Matte of Lafayette, Lou Paternostro of Baton Rouge, and Juanita Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, thirteen grandchildren, Chasey Pomier, Brandon, Jacob, Kyle, Brogan, Alison, Jacey, Lexi, Danielle, Emily and Macie Deville, Andrew and Ryan Bardin, and three great grandchildren, Averie and Carter Pomier and Hayden Deville.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wilmar and Alida Deville, sister, Ella Mae Fontenot, brothers, Wilfred, Joycic, Riley, Inis, and Donald Deville.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of 1:00 p.m.
