Opelousas Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday September 9, 2006, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas for Jimmy Lee Morris,44, who died Sunday, September 3, 2006. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Jimmy loved driving and working on 18 wheelers and tractors.

Mr. Morris is survived by his spouse, Cora Deville Morris of Opelousas; a son, James Lee Morris of Opelousas; a daughter, Taylor Elizabeth Morris of Opelousas; stepfather, Jimmie Schmitt and his wife, Carolyn of Church Point; three brothers: Carl Babineaux of Opelousas; Lyle Savant and wife, Donna of Opelousas; and Dale Schmitt and his wife, Peggy of Opelousas; two sisters-in-law, Monique and husband, Joel Irby,and Toni Bihm, brother-in-law, Keith Darbonne and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Elizabeth Smith and step father, Herbert Babineaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas from 4:00-10:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2006 and reopen on Saturday at 8 a.m. until the service time.

Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
