Opelousas A memorial service for Jimmy Ray Cummings, 51, will be held at 1: 00 PM on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas.

The Reverend Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Cummings, a native of Arcadia, LA and long-time resident of Opelousas and Port Barre, died at 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at the Lafayette General Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Ruesch Cummings of Port Barre; two sons, Clinton Cummings of Shreveport, Chase Cummings of Port Barre; two step sons, Jordan and Morgan Taylor of Lexington, Miss.; two daughters, Lauren Cummings of Shreveport and Alexis Cummings of Wiggins, Miss.; two step daughters, Lauren Tylor of Opelousas and Chelsea Taylor of Lexington, Miss; one brother, Donald Cummings of Port Barre; one sister, Cynthia Thompson of Red Oak, TX and one step grandchild, Cameron Taylor.

Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Cummings and Willa Dean Bryant Cummings and one brother James R. Cummings.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, from 12:00 PM until service time in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.
