Jesse R. Jay Clingan, Jr.

Grand Coteau Funeral services for Jesse R. Clingan, Jr, age 33, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
Howard Varnado and Milton Murphy will recite the service.
Jay was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Opelousas. He died on Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Cade LA.
Jay enjoyed fishing with his boys, trips on the Harley with his wife, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remember and greatly missed by a host of friends and extended family and nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lavergne Clingan of Opelousas, parents Jesse Sr. and Judith Clingan of Nacogdoches, TX and Gail Dupont of Morse, LA., children DeAndre, Aaron and Emily Lavergne all of Opelousas, and Alexandra Vincent, of Kilgore, TX., brothers Daniel Meaux, of Alaska, Joshua and Jared Meaux both of Lafayette, sister Dawn Dupont of Milton, LA.
Preceded in death by his brotherinlaw Neal James Lavergne.
Pallbearers will be Vinnie Cosimini, Shane Neal, Dennis Lavergne, Timothy Lavergne, Benjamin Lavergne, Donald Oliver, and Eric Gravish.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. with an all night wake until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
