Opelousas Memorial services for Jerry Bryant, age 58, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Perry Hubbs will officiate the service.
He was born Moulton, AL and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, then Arnaudville. He died on Monday, January 30, 2012.
He earned a B.S. Chemistry and worked in the oilfield then various chemical industries, inventing his own products for Chemical Resources, Inc. He loved flying so from the early 1990s he flew skydivers in Gonzales, Jeanerette Crowley through Louisiana AirSports. He loved his daughters dance competitions, playing guitar playing with his grandsons.
Survivors include his mother Mildred James Bryant of Kingwood, TX his wife of 12 years Tara Morgan Bryant of Arnaudville his daughter Alison Yariger husband Kirk grandsons Aidan Nolan of The Woodlands, TX his son Patrick Bryant of Baton Rouge his daughter Jolie Bryant of Arnaudville his stepdaughters Tallinn Tabby Touchet of Arnaudville his brother Al Bryant wife Rhonda of Kingwood, TX his sisterinlaw Beth Bryant niece Kelsey nephew Morgan of Humble, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Bryant brother Jeff Bryant.
