Opelousas– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jeremy Troy Hargroder on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell. Fr. Ted Broussard will officiate the service. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.
Jeremy Troy, aka “Superman” age 50, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at his home with all his family by his side. He is going to be missed by all of his family and friends.
Jeremy loved music and karaoke. He made a mean 7-steak gravy. He was a very hardworking man whose philosophy was “Don’t worry about the mule. Just load the wagon” He “Occasionally” enjoyed a bottle or two of Budweiser’s or a “lil” wild Turkey 101 & coke. He was a die-hard Saints fan and loved him some “Big Al” on KBON. He was a God-fearing man who lived his best life. To know him was to love him and truly was “Just a good ole boy”.
Jeremy Troy is survived by his loving wife of 7 Years, Pam Thibodeaux Hargroder, father, Didier “T-Boy” Hargroder and his wife Kay, sons, Seth Hargroder and his wife, Tawni, Austin Coussan, Jacob Coussan and Joshua Coussan, daughters, Allison Coussan and Gabrielle Coussan, brother Jason Hargroder and his wife Wendy, sister Toshia Council, nieces, Kristin Ceasar, husband C.J., Tabitha Hargroder, fiance, Jacob, Lindsay Council, nephew, Kolby Council, he was known as paran to his great nieces, Nyla and Cassie Ceasar, granddaughter, Lorelai Jane Faust aka Bugga.
Jeremy Troy is reunited in spirit with his mother, Rita Faye Duplechain Hargroder.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, the viewing will resume at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers include- Jason Hargroder, Seth Hargroder, Austin Coussan, Jacob Coussan, Joshua Coussan, C.J. Ceasar, and Damon Pellican.
