Jenny Lalonde

Opelousas - A funeral service for Jenny Lee Lalonde, 84, will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the service. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery.

Jennie died peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017 Senior Village Nursing Home. Jennie is a member of Christian Life Assembly. She loved to dance, going to church; she devoted her time to care for elderly.

She is survived by son, Patrick Marks and his wife, Audrey of Breaux Bridge, daughters, Barbara Miller and her husband, Carrol J. of Cecilia and Carolyn Lalonde of Ville Platte, brother, Paul D. Lalonde and wife, Eva Jane of New Roads, eleven grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren and ten great- great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Lalonde, her parents, Francis and Aldegonde Lalonde, two daughters, Kathleen Mouton, and Mary Lou Lalonde, sisters, Dorsey Lee Dauzat and Juanita L. Bello, grandchildren, Elliot J. Marks, Brett Meche, Elijah Perkel, one great grand daughter, Chole Nichole Aymond.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
