Jeigha Lea Stelly

Port Barre –A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Jeigha Stelly at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Henry will celebrate the mass. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. till the time of Mass. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. all in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre.

Jeigha Stelly was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Though she faced many struggles in life, she found strength in the love she had for her children and family. She endured profound loss, including the passing of her daughter, Victoria Stelly, at a young age, and her father, James Stelly. Despite these hardships, Jeigha remained fiercely independent and strong-willed, never afraid to speak her mind. If you did even the smallest thing for her, she would make sure to do even more in return. She had a playful, lighthearted way of showing love, often picking on those she cared for most. Jeigha is survived by her loving mother, Lynn Briley; her stepmother Jacinda Stelly; her stepfather, Brian Briley; her children, Lane Bourque, Caroline Bourque, and Isabella Douget; her sisters, Allyson Guillory, and her husband, Grantt Guillory; Jamie Pointer and Justine Euceda; her brother, Matthew Briley, and his wife, Courtney Briley; her grandmother, Betty Briley, her aunt, Gloria Bazar, her godchild Kinley and 2 loving nieces, Mila and Hollyn Kate. 

Jeigha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur Lee “Nusty” and Margie Roy, Nora Stelly, Wilber Briley. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who provided care and support during her illness, with special appreciation for her beloved Aunt Gloria Bazar. Jeigha will be deeply missed, but her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
