Jean` Duos

Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jean` Todd Duos, age 14 at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Morrow, LA. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at St. Peters Church Cemetery in Morrow, LA. Father Mike Guidry will celebrate the Mass.
Jean` Todd was a resident of Nuba. He passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015. He was a student at Port Barre High School; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding 4 wheelers. He was a prankster. He was loved by everyone and he will be sadly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Kelly Richard Gillen and step father, John Gillen of Lemoyen, father, Jean` Shane and step mother, Mia Duos of Nuba, brother, Kross Gillen of Lemoyen half brother, Levy Duos, of Nuba, sister, Kylie Duos of Lemoyne, step sisters, Alexis and Mallory Gillen of Port Barre, half sister, Marleigh Duos of Nuba, paternal grand parents, John "Cat" and Earlene Duos of Nuba, maternal grand parents, David and Debbie Richard of Lemoyen, great grandmother, Callie Richard, of Lemoyen, step grandparents Chris and Marla Andrus, step grandmother, Rosetta Gillen, niece, Kali Ardoin of Lemoyen.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Lee L. Richard, and step grandfather, Kenny Gillen.

Pallbearers will be, Alex "AJ' West, Rickey Richard, Chad Soileau, Chad Hebert, Justin Vidrine, and Matt Leger and horary will be Kross Gillen and Collin Soileau.

The visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015, with an all night wake until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the funeral home.
