Port Barre – A Funeral Service for Janice “Totsy” Doucet will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Port Barre. Pastor Bert Langley will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Totsy, age 75, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Opelousas General Health System. Totsy will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and ceramics.

Totsy is survived by her son, Troy Doucet of Port Barre, daughter, Adley Doucet of Rogers, Ak., and Donna Alverson of North Carolina, sisters, Billie Diaville (Clyde), of Port Barre, Katherine Badeaux (Allen), of Port Barre, Dolores Guillory, of Port Barre, Lisa Brooks of Mississippi, and Jennifer Zachery (Joseph) of Port Barre, four grandchildren.

Totsy is Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Doucet, her parents, Rodney and Adley Guillory, sisters, Helen Guillory and Norma Lee Credeur.

The family requested that visitation be on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 9:00 am till service in the funeral home chapel.

Pallbearers will be Roger Credeur, Clyde Joseph Diaville, Kevin Diaville, Tristen Badeaux, Nicholas Diaville, and Caleb Diaville.
