Krotz Springs- Funeral services for James A. Schexnayder, age 30, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rev. Chad Bolfa will officiate the service.

James was born in New Orleans, LA, and was a resident of Lawtell. He died on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at his residence. He loves spending time outdoors especially going fishing with his family. He also loves fire trucks. He was extremely friendly to everyone and was full of spirit and life. He was a very wonderful son, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed by all.

Mourning his death yet cherishing his memories are his parents, Ricky and Gwen S. Beard of Lawtell; and his grandmother, Patsy Schexnayder of Krotz Springs; one brother, Collin Ardoin; and three sisters: Sophia, Karli and, Laney Beard. He also has a host of extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolly Williams Hall and Harry Hall; and two uncles, Marshall and Glenn Schexnayder.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, June 13, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
