Krotz Springs Memorial Funeral services for Mr. James Robert Jimbo Savoie, age 61, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Bible Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, La. Private interment services will be held later.
Pastor Don Disotell will conduct the Memorial Service.
Jimbo was a resident of Krotz Springs. He died on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at his residence.
Jimbo loved fishing, watching TV, going to Church and reading his Bible. He is going to be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Jimbo is survived by his brothers Percy Savoie of Krotz Springs, Randolph Savoie of Rayne sisters Serita Prejean of Rayne, Brenda Bourque of Duson, Lillian Bennett of Marksville, Lora Dupre of Krotz Springs and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Alice Oge Savoie, Sr. brother, Ellis Savoie, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed at the Bible Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 until time of service.
