James Ozenne

Port Barre A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for James Lee Ozenne at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre.

James loved camping and fishing with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Richard Ozenne of Port Barre; daughter, Ashley Savoie of Opelousas; step-daughters, Lindy Lopez of Scott and Shawn Hall of Lafayette; brother, Joseph Miller of Sunset; sisters, Catherine Roy of Lafayette, Elizabeth Richard of Port Barre, and Christine Francois of Eunice; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Theresa Miller.

Pallbearers will be Nick Miller, Joe Miller, Brett Hollier, Seth Hollier, Will Mims, and Donnie Francois.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the rosary at 1:30 p.m.
