Port Barre-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Mr. James Leblanc, Jr., at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre, LA. Reverend Daniel Picard will conduct the Mass. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Leblanc, age 70, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at his residence. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Mr. Leblanc enjoyed reading and hunting. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Matthew James Leblanc and wife, Katelyn; Laura Aline Bourque and husband, Thomas, Deidre Kimble and husband, Henry, Ashley Boudreaux and husband, Jerry; sisters, Joy Bollinger and husband, Boysie, Dinah Bolotte and husband, Jeffery, Ellen Matteo and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Madison Kimble, Christopher Bourque, Aubrey Boudreaux, Harrison Leblanc, Madelyn Leblanc and Bentley Boudreaux.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Leblanc Sr. and Lurie Willingham Leblanc.
The family requests visitation be held on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. A Rosary Service will be prayed by Reverend Daniel Picard at 10:00 a.m.
