James Guillory

Port Barre- Funeral services for Mr. James Guillory age 65 will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joe Russo will officiate the services.

James died on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Opelousas General Health System.

James was born on December 12, 1943, in Waxia, LA, and was also a life- long resident of Port Barre. He was a House Builder for many years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, a doing woodworks, going to auctions, and spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who truly knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Rose Comeaux Guillory of Port Barre; one son, James Tony Guillory and wife, Michelle of Port Barre; three sisters: Ruby Parker of Mandeville; Ella Mae Restivo of Harvey; Esther LaCashio of Port Barre; one grandson, Tyler Guillory of Port Barre; four granddaughters; Dawn and Kristen Guillory of Port Barre; Ashley Faul and husband, Jerry of Port Barre; and Delane Dekerlegand of Opelousas; and four great grandchildren: Cayden, Kaybri, Landon, and Layton.

Also a very special friend, Marvin Wenke from Dresden, Germany, who is regarded as a member of the Guillory Family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Guillory and Azama Marks Guillory; and three brothers: Joseph, Jessie, and Lee Guillory.
