James Castille

Opelousas - A Memorial Mass for James Castille will be announced at a later date.

James, age 57, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at his residence.

James enjoyed taking care of animals, especially his horses and dogs. He also enjoyed being outdoors gardening and tending to his flowers. James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by son, Ethan Castille; daughter, Alexis Castille; brothers, Carl, Ricky and Kenneth Castille; sister, Connie Fontenot; grandchildren, Laiylah Albert, Nyah Albert, Aubreigh Albert, Guhner Albert, Stryhkher Albert, Raegun Courville, Noah Courville and AbbiGhail Courville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke “L.J.”  Castille and Mathilda Lavergne Castille; niece, Natalie Dimonde.
