James Jimmy Bourque
Port Barre Funeral services for James Jimmy Bourque, 59, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday January 11, 2007 in Courtableau Baptist Church in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.
Brother Shelby Andre will conduct the services.
Mr. Bourque, a native of the Bellevue Community and resident of Sulphur, died at 2:34AM Tuesday January 9, 2007 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bourque was a sheet metal mechanic for an air conditioner business.
He was also a volunteer fireman with the Patterson Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Mr. Bourque was an outdoorsman and avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include: his wife Lucille M. Bourque of Sulphur; two daughters, Melissa Martin and Lisa Bourque both of Sulphur; two brothers, Gerald Bourque of Port Barre and Leroy Bourque of Milton; four sisters, Mary Noel of Washington, Sherry Matt of Vinton, Laura Ann Comeaux of Port Barre and Geraldine Bonnette of Pine Prairie; two grandchildren, Michael James Bourque and Jade Noel Bourque.
Mr. Bourque was preceded in death by his parents Howard J. and Alita M. Trahan Bourque and a grandson Casey Michael Martin.
