Jacqueline Dejean Turregano

Opelousas Funeral Services for Jacqueline Dejean Turregano, age 84, will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Father Pete Smith will officiate the services.
Jacqueline was a native of Opelousas. She passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010, at her home at 5:30 a.m.
She owned and operated Mademioselle in Opelousas, and she also worked as a bookkeeper at St. Landry Bank for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two sons Leonard Garland White, of Houston, TX, and Michael David White and wife, Kim of Opelousas, two daughters Julia Clair White Harris of Mossouri City, TX, and Elizabeth Maree White Williams of Opelousas, sisters Fannie Lucille Dejean Genin of Opelousas, and Katherine D.Lafleur of Opelousas, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Garland and Julia Ducon Dejean, husband Thomas Tucker Turregano.
The family requests that visitation be observed in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Opelousas on Monday, December 20, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association at 3717 Government Street, Suite 7 Alexandria, LA 71302
