Ms. Stoute never married; she remained at home to help with the family house and garden. She loved growing flowers and could be found in her yard daily. She was also a wonderful baker of sweets and breads. No bakery could ever top her delicious cakes. Ms. Stoute loved her family, took care of her parents and siblings and after her mother died, she took over the cooking and all of the household chores. Ms. Stoute always had a smile on her face. She did very little talking, of course some of her siblings did most of the talking. She loved her nieces and nephews. When they went to visit, she would take over caring for them from birth until she got older. Her face lit up every time they visited her.
