Ida Nezat

Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial, for Ida Aymond Nezat will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Ida age 98, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by son, James Keith "Nootsey" Nezat, of Opelousas, brothers, Bobby Aymond and wife, Grace of Leonville, Horace Aymond of Arkansas, sister, Lillian LeBlanc and husband, Joseph of Opelousas, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Euclide and Elder Wyble Aymond, husband, Fred Nezat, Jr, son, Harold "Butch" Nezat, daughters, Maxine Vickers, Marion Kling and Merle Lindsey, brothers, Pick, Herman and Harry Aymond, sister, Lillie Ann Guidry.

The family requests visitation be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
