Huey Dunn

Port Barre Funeral Services for Huey P. Dunn, age 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre, and Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Hedi Spell will conduct the Services.
Huey was a native of Washington and resident of Little Tech. He passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette. He was self employed most of his life in the Oilfield Construction, Guardrail Construction and Pallet Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, visiting relatives, his children and friends, and especially his grandchildren.
Huey is survived include his wife, of 44 years Mary Stelly and there children, Dean C. Dunn Beth of Opelousas Melody Robertson Donald of Washington, Kathy Fruge Charles of Grand Prairie, Vickie Burgess of Washington, Kerry Kruger Dave of Denton Texas, Huey Dunn Jr. of Opelousas, Anthony Nezat of Houston, Wilfred Nezat of Church Point, Donovan Nezat of Eunice, and Shane Nezat Ella of Basile. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great greatgrandchild.
Huey was preceded in death by his sons, Jeff Layne Dunn and James Gregory Dunn, his parents and his brothers.
Pallbearers will be Dean Corey Dunn, Anthony Nezat, Shane Nezat, Anthony Nezat, Jr. Sandy Dunn, and Mitchael Nezat.
Thanks to all Doctors, Nurses and the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes, Dr. Sobiack and Palliative Care for the good care.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Friday, November 7, 2014, beginning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
