Hope Nicole Pruhomme Landry

Port Barre Funeral services for Hope Nicole Prudhomme Landry, 25, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2006, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Father Nicky Trahan will conduct the services.

Hope was a life-long resident of Port Barre and died on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at her residence. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a very devoted and loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Brianna Renee Landry and her son, Brysonn Joseph Landry, both of Port Barre; her husband, Mitchell Joseph Landry of Port Barre; mother, Debra Kerry Popps and stepfather, Daniel Popps, Sr. of Melville; father, David Prudhomme of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; one sister, Monique Marie Richard Stermer and husband, Travis Keith Stermer of Port Barre; one brother, Jesse Lynn Prudhomme of Melville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Judy Landry of Port Barre; maternal grandparents: Herman Paul Kerry, Sr. and Nancy Mae Kerry of Melville; maternal great-grandmother, Bernice Kerry of Melville; and paternal grandfather, Eli Prudhomme of Cankton.

Hope was preceded in death by her two precious daughters: Brittany Ann Landry and Candice Renee Landry; maternal great grandparents: John and Mary Credeur and Jesse Kerry, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Gloria Prudhomme.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre from 1 p.m. on Thursday with an all night wake until the time of services on Friday.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
