OPELOUSAS- A Funeral Service will be held for Henrietta Robin Guidry at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. Fr. Darren Eldridge will conduct the services. Inurnment will follow at St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville.

Mrs. Henrietta, age 87, a resident of Arnaudville, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Henrietta enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing. She also loved going to the casino and playing bourre. What she cherished most was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Guidry Mistrot, Sheryl Ann Callandret and husband, Gene, and Mary Lisa Angelle and husband, Percy Joseph “Joe Angelle III”; grandchildren, Dustin James Stelly and fiance, Holli Schexnayder, Dylan Christopher Stelly and wife, Makayla, Danielle Nicole Dohmann and husband, Seth, Joseph Durick Angelle, Taylor Danielle McBride and husband, E.J., Sheila Marie Prudhomme and husband, Kevin, Paul Lynn Broussard and wife, Jessica and Melissa Ann Mistrot; great-grandchildren, Tucker Anthony Hernandez, Madalynn Joy Stelly, Weston Christopher Stelly, Levi Joseph Dohmann, Stella Grace Dohmann, Graya Faye McBride, Scotty Prudhomme, Devin James Prudhomme, Brittany Nicole Prudhomme, Chase Prudhomme, Davin Broussard and Mia Broussard; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. .

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weston Guidry; parents, Henry Joseph Robin and Bertha Mistric Robin; sister, Shirley Schexnayder and husband, Vernon; and son-in-law, John Allen “Al” Mistrot.
