Opelousas Memorial services for Ms. Heather Lee Geissler, age 36, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in the Hope Presbyterian Church in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA.

Rev. John Uhl will officiate the service.

Heather was currently residing in Opelousas. She died on Monday, March 23, 2009, in Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Heather is survived by her children, Hayden Michael Cantrelle of Lafayette, Lilly Jane Bares and Grace Lee Bares of Lafayette; parents, Michael and Nancy Mizzi Geissler of Opelousas; brother, Michael Gessiler, Jr. of Opelousas; sisters, Sarah Lee Geissler and Anna Lee Geissler of Opelousas; nephew, Hudson Jack Thibodeaux; niece, Sophia Camille Dupuis.

Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby Joe and Jane Quirk Williamson and a niece Anna Lee Jane Geissler.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Hope Presbyterian Church, Opelousas on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, beginning at 2 p.m.
